Can’t attend the Scrabble® with the Stars festivities on November 6th?
John Dunsworth (Trailer Park Boys) has thrown down the Scrabble® gauntlet and you can pick it up wherever you are!
The DunsWord Challenge could be considered a pre-game warm-up or a way of joining the fun if you cannot attend the festivities on November 6, 2015.
John is a self-assessed Scrabble® wizard but perhaps you think you have what it takes to beat him?! If you do, John makes a donation to PAL. You are not just battling John, but all the other participants too. We’ve created a special DunsWord Trophy and John promises a personal treat for the winning entry.

PAL Halifax is a registered charity created to provide affordable housing and care for retiring and aspiring artists and allied professions in Nova Scotia.
We are a member of PAL Canada, the national umbrella organization, with chapters in eight Canadian cities, all working to assist members of their own communities.
PAL Halifax is one of many branches of PAL across the country and we are in active efforts to build a facility here in Halifax. Similar to those in other Canadian centres, a PAL Halifax residence will provide affordable housing and care to those in our community who are in need – particularly those with careers now behind them. The arts and cultural industry can be uncertain and careers within it are often precarious. PAL Halifax is dedicated to making sure that individuals who contribute to this industry will be able to retire in safety and with dignity. All money raised by PAL Halifax stays here. With our growing partnerships, we look forward to being able to accommodate members within the next couple of years.
